Today’s the first nasty weather day of 2009, and I had to update the Weather Challenge tally. Both the Weather Network and Environment Canada got it right again, so they both got one point each. It’s actually a real hodge-podge of weather, with everything from snow to freezing rain to rain to ice pellets. Thankfully I can work from home, so that’s what I’m going to do today. If it weren’t for the freezing rain or ice pellets, I would just hop in the car and head to the office, as I don’t mind driving in snow. It slows things down, that’s for sure, but it’s not as dangerous as the icy roads. (At least when it’s less than 10cms at a time!) But still, it’s a tad frustrating.
