Look at that, Italian Blanket #1 is done! Yippie! It’s about 75″ x 54″, which is huge, and heavy, considering it’s a cotton blanket. But it’s finished. Well, that’s not entirely true, as I do have to do the border, but I was a little tired of having it follow me around, so I declared it done.
In reality I wasn’t actually sure how I was going to do the border, however now that I’ve started the border on another blanket I’m doing right now, I see how I can do it on this log cabin one, so I’ll bring it out again next weekend and truly finish it off.
But isn’t it boo-ti-ful? I think so.

It looks great! I can’t wait to see it in person. I know I was daunted by the border for my first blanket, but it turned out to be easy and looks amazing. Good luck!
