I decided to take advantage of my day off today to do some things around the house. I sorted through some old purses, tossed a few and selected a few to sell on eBay. I also put up the new blinds I bought at Ikea on the weekend. I wasn’t sure how easy it would be, or even if I’d like them, so I only bought one (I would need two), and I put it up today. The main reason I wanted the blinds is because they block out sunlight, and then they scroll up vertically, so I can put it down half way and still allow some air to come in. Check it out:

I’m quite pleased with it, so I think next payday I’ll head over there and pick up another one to complete the set. That means repositioning the one I just put up, but that’s okay, now that I know how to put them up.

I’m also going to reorganize my kitchen, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while now, but just haven’t had the chance. But first, I’ve got to go visit a friend’s place to water her plants (she’s on vacation). So until the next update, ta ta!
